Mini-Blitzer is a fast-play ruleset using plenty of models. It uses a hexagonal grid battlefield with dots representing the centre of the hexes. Occupying units sit on or around a dot. Larger units consisting of many bases are magnetically attached to rectangular tin sheets, enabling the composition of units to be easily changed for each game.
The combat system is extremely fast and caters for a large number of tactical and weapons factors. Aircraft rules including air-to-air combat are also used. Mini-Blitzer is currently undergoing playtesting and will be available by the end of 2018. In the meantime we will post more battle reports like the one below and give more details of the game's mechanisms as they continue to be refined. |
